Documents to Carry For IBPS Clerk IX 2019 Exam

Please note that candidates will not be permitted to appear for the Online Preliminary as well as Online
Main Examination without the following documents:
(1) Valid Call Letter for the respective date and session of Examination
(2) Photo-identity proof (as specified) in original bearing the same name as it appears on the call letter/
application form and
(3) Photocopy of photo-identity proof (as mentioned in (2) above)


Qualifying Marks for IBPS Clerk Exam

Cut-off Score (Online Main examination)
Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of the Online Main Examination and
also a minimum total score to be considered for further process. Depending on the number of the State/ UT
wise vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided and candidates will be considered for provisional allotment. Prior to the completion of provisional allotment process scores obtained in the Online Main Examination will not be shared with the candidates.
MARKS OBTAINED IN THE ONLINE MAIN EXAMINATION ONLY WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR FINAL MERIT LISTING.


IBPS Clerk IX 2019 Selection Process

The selection process of IBPS Clerk consists of 2 phases (preliminary and mains).  The candidates must qualify each of them to go on to the next phase.
The important steps of the IBPS Clerk Recruitment Procedure are as follows:

•Online Preliminary Examination:
Sufficient number of candidates in each category is shortlisted by IBPS depending upon the requirements for Online Main Examination

Online Mains Examination:
Candidates need to qualify each section as well as the overall cut-off in the main exam to be eligible for the Final Selection.

•Final Result:
The Final result is declared on the basis of the merit list in IBPS Clerk Mains Exam.

•Provisional Allotment:
The provisional allotment of the eligible candidate is released on the official website. The IBPS allots Banks to the candidates on the basis of the preferences they have made at the time of the online registration.
IBPS plays a role in the selection process until the provisional selection of different banks. Further, the responsibility to inform the qualified candidates about their joining dates and procedures lies with the respective banks.

IBPS Clerk IX 2019 Eligibility

I. Nationality / Citizenship:
A candidate must be either –
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of
permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African
countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and
Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently
settling in India,
provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose
favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

II. Age (As on 01.09.2019):
Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 28 years
i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.09.1991 and no later than 01.09.1999 (both dates
inclusive)

III. Educational Qualifications:
A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. Of India or any
equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern

The IBPS Clerk IX 2019 preliminary examination is of one-hour duration and is conducted online. It has 3 sections with having 100 questions in total with a maximum score of 100 marks. There is negative marking in the IBPS Clerk Pre exam as 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer. The section-wise details are given below:

IBPS Clerk Mains Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of IBPS Clerk IX 2019 Mains is also changed. The main exam is also held online, the latest update by IBPS it has 4 sections there is 190 Question having a total score of 200 marks of 160 minutes duration.

Last Year Computer Aptitude and Reasoning Ability section conduct Separately, but in the recent update both sections come together have 50 questions and the time duration is 45 minutes.

The candidates must attempt the sections in the same order and within the allotted time fixed by the examining body. The candidate can’t leave the existing section before the time allotted.

The next section can only be attempted after the current section is completed. There is a negative marking with a deduction of 0.25 marks for every mistake.
