CTET Dec. 2019 Result | Final Answer Key of Paper 1 and Paper 2 | OMR Sheet and Calculation Sheet. The Central Teacher Eligibility Test, known as CTET, is the minimum qualification required in India for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for Classes I to VIII. The test is mandatory for teaching jobs in government schools. There are two papers: Paper 1, for teachers of Classes I to V, and Paper 2 for Classes VI to VIII. The CTET is conducted by the Central Board of secondary education. The test is conducted to meet the objectives of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009. Qualifying Marks

The qualifying mark for CTET 2019 is 60% for General category and 55% for OBC/ SC/ ST categories. Candidates who will score equal to or more than the qualifying marks will be considered qualified.

General 60% (90 marks)
OBC/SC/ST 55% (82.5 Marks)

Exam Pattern

The pattern of CTET exam consists of 2 papers – Paper 1 (Primary Stage) and Paper 2 (Elementary Stage)

  • Paper 1 is for candidates who intend to become a teacher for classes 1 to 5.
  • Paper 2 is for candidates who wish to teach students from classes 6 to 8.

There are 150 questions in each paper and one question carries one mark.

Exam Date

The exam date of CTET 2019 is given in the official schedule as 8 December 2019. Paper 1 will be conducted in the morning from 09:30 AM to 12:00 noon, while Paper 2 will be conducted in the afternoon session from 02:00 PM to 04:30 PM.
